About Waypoint Mastermind
We help people who’ve checked every box stop drifting and start living the mission they were actually built for.
Our Story
Waypoint Mastermind was founded by Ron Bouchard, an educator and strategic coach who spent years watching capable, accomplished people hit a wall they couldn’t quite name. They’d built the career, hit the goals, checked every box — and still felt like they were drifting.
Ron built the Waypoint System to answer a simple question: what’s actually steering your life? Not what you say you believe, but the beliefs, needs, and habits running quietly in the background of every decision you make.
That system became the foundation for Waypoint Mastermind’s coaching work — and for Ron’s book, Don’t Die in a Rowboat, which puts the same framework into the hands of readers who may never sit across from a coach.
What We Believe
We believe you were made on purpose, for a purpose — and that most people are drifting simply because no one ever showed them how to read their own compass. Coaching with us means working through the same tools inside the Waypoint System:
Behavioral Element
Your natural wiring — Fire, Wind, Water, or Earth — and how it shapes the way you move through the world.
Core Values
The handful of things that actually drive your decisions, whether you’ve named them or not.
Six Human Needs
The universal needs quietly running your habits, moods, and choices.
Your Big Why
Found by going seven levels deep — past the surface answers to the one that actually moves you.
Core Beliefs
What you actually believe about yourself, others, and the world — and where those beliefs came from.
Divine Mission
The harbor you’re actually built to reach, not just the next goal on the list.
Read the Book
The whole framework, start to finish, is in Ron’s book, Don’t Die in a Rowboat — Reclaim the Life You Were Designed For. It’s the fastest way to meet the Drunken Monkey and see if this way of thinking is for you.
Ready to Take the Oars Back?
If you’re done drifting and ready for a real conversation about what’s next, we’d love to talk. No pressure, no obligation — just an honest conversation about what’s actually driving your life right now.
